What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a form of massage from Japan.
Unlike other forms of massage there are no oils used. Shiatsu means finger pressure. It includes pressure applied from the thumbs, palms and possibly elbow.
Shiatsu techniques are applied along the meridians, or pathways, located in the fascia using the principles of Chinese Medicine to harmonise the body energy flow or Qi.
Shiatsu is sometimes referred as acupuncture without needles.
“Often the hands will solve the mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain”
Carl Jung

Testimonials
In the West, we have separated the body and the mind.
This can sometimes lead to a limited understanding of phenomena from a purely intellectual point of view.
Shiatsu offers another approach…
Most of all...
Shiatsu allows you to get to know yourself better…
one session after the other.
It will bring the unseen to the surface…
Through physical touch, Shiatsu can touch the invisible, the mind and much more.
